I reviewed this place by accident before because my maps told me this was where I was sitting at the time. I’m so sorry for that I give you 5 stars now. I was trying to review the one in Collingdale on MacDade. I can’t find the review to rebuttal but please if you can have them delete it. I’ve since found the right one and gave the proper review to the right people. I’m so sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.
I came to this store around 7:15 PM because the posted hours on Maps showed that they closed at 8:00 PM. There was already another customer inside when I arrived, and I waited several minutes before getting help in the wig section. I was looking at a few wigs because I wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the texture and length before spending about $200. While I was still shopping, I was suddenly being rushed and told that the store was already closed and that I needed to leave. I explained multiple times that I only came because the posted hours said 8 PM. One employee even argued that they did not close at 8. The manager then asked me to show him where I saw that, so I pulled up the listing on my phone and showed him that it clearly said 8 PM. No apology, no acknowledgment of the incorrect information, and the attitude continued. I was also spoken to rudely when I was trying to put a wig back into its packaging. I didn’t know there was a security tag inside, and instead of simply explaining that, the response was unnecessarily disrespectful. By the time I got to the register, I no longer felt comfortable spending my money there, so I left without completing the purchase. I completely understand employees being tired and wanting to go home. What I don’t understand is allowing customers to come in based on your posted business hours, then treating them like they did something wrong for being there. If the store closes earlier than what is publicly listed, update the hours or tell customers at the door that you are no longer accepting sales. Basic customer service and respectful communication would have avoided the entire situation.
I went in for hair beads for my daughter and the African women working there followed me from aisle to aisle. I’ve been going to this hair store for 8 years and have never been followed nor have I stolen even once. I’m very disappointed by the staff and almost didn’t buy the beads due to price increase. Increasing prices while lower the quality of staff is a hard no for me…I’ll go across the street.
They charged me $3.17 for the $1.00 size hair net. They charge $9.00, for the $5.99 edge control. They are way way over priced. The red hair net came from another store for $2.00, just to give you context. NEVER EVER COMING BACK
It has all the hair products I need. Guys y'all got to check it out. Their discount is great. Why are all the stores I have been to lately workers so nice 👌🏾🥰🥰. I am going to give a shout-out to Mimi ❤️ Thanks girl. You are doing great 🤠😉
